BELOW IS A GOOD EXAMPLE OF LEADERSHIP:
She has received awards, both at her company and with IAAP recognizing her leadership. She was elected President of the local IAAP chapter. She also was selected as co-chair of the United Way charitable campaign – the first time that this assignment did not go to a management person in the company. She continues to be a major source of drive and energy for the local IAAP chapter, taking on roles from basic organizing of projects and tasks, to setting the agenda for the major Chapter Forum day that was held recently and even serving as the Master of Ceremonies for that chapter meeting. She works with all types of people at all levels and manages to have each one respect her skills and leadership. She is constantly in high demand due to her skills, receptiveness to help others, her skills in getting the work done and her leadership in finding new ways to do things. She is the master space planner for the department during any office issues and relocations. And this is rare – even the Chairman of our 8,500 employee company (and he resides in a different region) knows her and recognizes the trust she has developed in the organization as someone who can be depended on to get things done, no matter how difficult.
